The NHS England/NHS Commissioning Assembly Learning Environment hosts a range of knowledge sharing tools for CCGs, allowing them to share best practice and seek advice and support. The website includes case studies, private forums, a search tool to identify similar CCGs, and a directory of support providers.

QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention) aims to help NHS organisations deliver higher quality care and operate more efficiently and effectively. The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has set up a programme to implement QIPP across the trust. This blog, delivered by the RFH Medical Library, will highlight latest papers about QIPP to support the Trust as they carry out this work.

Learning communities and the skills needed to improve care
"Part of the reason why quality improvement is so hard to achieve may be that those involved in leading QI programmes need to deploy three different but interrelated types of improvement skills: technical, soft and learning skills. A lack of skills in one area will constrain progress, irrespective of the team’s strengths in other skill areas."
